Crowhurst Quiet Day on 19th June

CROWHURST QUIET DAY

On Wednesday 19th June, over 20 members and friends of United Emmanuel gathered at the Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre for a Quiet Day of reflection and renewal.

The day began with a time of worship in the main chapel. After fellowship, joyfully singing together, and in some cases being prayed over and annointed by a Chaplain, everyone dispersed to explore the peaceful grounds of Crowhurst in their own way. That may have been through prayer, conversation, silent contemplation while walking the beautiful grounds, or creative expression in the Art Room.

As always, a delicious lunch was served, and the glorious weather added to the sense of rest and blessing throughout the day. As Rev Helen said, the day was a real gift. A heartfelt thank you to Anne S for organising our mini pilgrimage of peace and quiet this year. Many of us are already looking forward to returning next year.
