Hawkenbury United Reformed Church is a friendly, welcoming church family. We are blessed to be centrally placed in the heart of Hawkenbury, a lovely place to live. We have strong community links with the village and many local organisations and services make use of our building and we are glad to be able to support the community in this way.

HAWKENBURY UNITED REFORMED CHURCH
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
We meet for worship each week on Sunday morning. Our service begins at 10:30am and lasts about an hour. On the first Sunday each month, during our worship, we share in The Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion). Everyone is welcome to join us for worship and to participate in communion if you wish.
Our worship is mainly traditional in style but with variety, led by our minister (once each month), a range of visiting preachers or by our elders. Our services include readings, prayers, hymn and worship songs, reflections or a message (sometimes called a sermon) and other elements according to the theme and season.
We are fortunate to have a well maintained pipe organ which is played for us at least once each month and on the other Sundays we use a digital hymnal to provide our music.

QUIET DAY at CROWHURST HEALING CENTRE
We had an enjoyable and blessed “Quiet Day” at Crowhurst Healing Centre. We were made very welcome by the team there and can recommend to others in need of a day of refreshment (body and soul!).
